Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Aurum (“Aurum,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Aurum is a private net-worth tracker. You enter your assets and liabilities manually; we calculate and display a consolidated net worth view, history, and (on paid tiers) AI-assisted insight. Market prices for stocks, crypto, and commodities are sourced from third-party providers and are informational only — not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.

2. Account & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity on your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when signing up.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Aurum offers two paid tiers:

• Aurum Premium — $29.99 / month, recurring.
• Aurum Private — $99.99 / month, recurring.

Subscriptions purchased through Apple are processed by the App Store and managed under your Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Subscriptions purchased on the web are processed by Stripe and can be managed from Settings → Account → Manage Subscription.

4. Refunds

Apple In-App Purchase refunds are issued by Apple at Apple’s discretion — request via reportaproblem.apple.com. Stripe-processed payments are refundable within 14 days of the most recent charge by emailing concierge@useaurum.app.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of the financial data you enter. You can export it (CSV/PDF) and delete your account at any time from Settings → Security → Delete Account. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how we protect it.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to circumvent authentication, billing, or rate limits.
• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.
• Do not scrape or resell market data accessed through Aurum.

7. No Financial Advice

Aurum is a record-keeping and informational tool. Nothing in Aurum — including the AI advisor on the Private tier — constitutes financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Market data may be delayed or unavailable. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Termination

You can cancel anytime by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurum is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from financial decisions made using the service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
